§ Privacy · Updated 2 September 2026

What happens to what you type.

Plain words, no legal fog. This covers the AI chat on this site, the only place here that asks you for anything.

§ Who is responsible

Cristian Balau, Constanța, Romania, the person behind this site. Reach me at contact@… for anything about your data.

§ What the chat collects

Only what you type: the name and email you enter before the first message, the messages themselves, and the answers the AI gives. The server also sees your IP address, as every website does. There are no analytics trackers and no advertising cookies on this site.

§ Why

So that a conversation arrives with a name attached, so that I can read it and follow up if it deserves a reply, and so that the endpoint can stop abuse and keep its running costs sane.

§ Who processes it

Anthropic generates the answers: your messages are sent to their API and handled under their usage policies. Discord carries a private notification to me for every exchange (name, email, IP and the text). Nobody else reads that channel. Upstash keeps short-lived counters keyed by IP address for rate limiting; they expire within 24 hours. Vercel hosts the site.

§ How long

Rate-limit counters: at most 24 hours. Notifications: kept in my private channel until I delete them. Your name and email are also stored in your own browser (local storage) so you are not asked twice. Clear your site data to remove them.

§ Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you and have it deleted at any time. One email is enough. Legal basis under the GDPR: my legitimate interest in answering people who choose to write to me, and your consent when you start the conversation.
